Getting Back in the Game

Been slowed up by a family of sickies and my own workload, but will be back soon (tonight or tomorrow) with new postings.

On the way soon:

  • A meditation on whether Jesus called us to Christianity or not.
  • An update/summary of my novel, for those who’ve stuck with me for a while but are forgetting some of the earlier events, especially with the sometimes long stretches between new installments.
  • The return of the Hummus Idol
  • More installments of the Cleansed By Fire novel (and hopefully more frequent)

Have also been wondering lately if I should take on a more confessional (not in the religious sense necessarily) and/or memoir-like tone in one or two posts a week around here.

I’m taken off the mask, but does anyone really care about my life? And would my wife and son want me to be more open about parts of my life that overlap theirs?

Something to ponder, but if anyone has input (and that includes you, Mrs. Blue), let me know.

Hey, haven’t been here in a loooong time. A face to the thoughts….cute. Are you a redhead or am I color blind?

Depends on how you define redHEAD. 😉

Thanks to bald spot in top/back and heavily receding hairline, I went quickly from ponytail to very short ‘do to going bald, which has been my preferred look to maximize attractiveness to Mrs. Blue (even though she preferred me with long hair).

But I am a “ginger” that is true. Carrot top (literally had orange-red hair as a boy) at first, then gradually went to red and then auburn as the years went on. Beard is still pretty bright red, aside from the white bits that are getting bigger each year (I call it the salt-and-cayenne pepper look)
