I’ve let a lot of notes pile up about the Whethermen universe, so in addition to getting new chapters out for “The Gathering Storm” and miscellaneous one-off stories, I’ll be doing a lot of updating of the info pages for this blog, adding characters, bios, background info, history, etc.
Prepare to be overwhelmed with everything from gourmet fare to junk food, loyal readers.
Writing’s a funny thing, and once again I’m struck at how the story sometimes tells ME what to do instead of the other way around. I started chapter 20 of “The Gathering Storm” this afternoon and figured I’d have the chapter ready tonight or early tomorrow.
Instead, I was compelled to write the final chapter of the story, even though I have several chapters to go before we get to that point. Suddenly, a lot of things just became clear in my mind, and I knew I had to write it all down lest I lose it all. My Muse (or Muses) can be cruel about not reminding me later of things I refused to tackle when they drive me to do so. 😉
