In addition to today’s “real” post, immediately below this one, I just wanted to mention that I’ve added a “recent comments” area to the sidebar. More and more lately, as folks find my blog through Internet searches, they are finding older posts and sometimes commenting on them. For most of you, you’d never know these comments were being made, since it’s not like you have an admin dashboard like I do telling you. So, maybe this will be a way to help keep some of those comments to older posts from being lost and simply being an exchange between me and some new visitor.

How did you add the recent comments thing? Is it a html code? I’d like to add one to my blog.
You’re on blogspot, so I’m not sure how that works. At WordPress we have “widgets” that we can add through the panel to our sidebar. Some are totally configurable (text boxes in which you can make your own title and insert text and code), some are inbetween, and some are non-confurugable. Pretty much everything in my sidebar is a standard WordPress widget and I’m not even sure how to view the code (or even IF I can).
